In my opinion, Chris McCandless was a very heroic man. He was also a person we could all look up to. He is a role model for the world because he one of the very rare people in the world who care about nature. He tries to preserve nature as much as he can. For instance, he was very ravished on a day that he happened to be hunting; he was just about to kill a young deer and then he saw that the mother was standing right beside it, so he decided to spare the young deer's life. This is a true example of a nature lover because he would rather starve then end a young deer's life. The critic views Chris in such a negative way and doesn't focus on the positive things that Chris has done such as show the world that we all do not revolve around technology. I do not understand why people think he is crazy! How can you call a person crazy when all they want to do is get away from materialistic figures in life and enjoy the real world! Everybody she follow in his shoes and admire his great bravery for facing the wild.
